Language Lab for School - It is the best medium for speaking practice and students will be able to learn many languages simultaneously. Language labs are known by many names such as digital lab, multimedia language lab, English lab and language media center etc in this modern era. These labs are established by institutions and colleges for many purposes.
Comp-Point Systems (I) Pvt Ltd. an ISO certified company backed by professionals of IITs has installed 500+ Language Labs (English labs / Communication labs) in schools / colleges / institutes in the length and breadth of the country. Company provides the master console for the teacher which is further connected to the students units (transmitter / receiver) fixed on the benches. The entire communication is two way. Company also provides software (English, Hindi, Germany, French etc.) which is installed in the computer system. The student can improvise on the pronunciation speaking proficiency.
Language Lab Equipments
Master Console
This is the master equipment with which the instructor can control the operations of the Language Lab system. It consists of -
- Microprocessor based dialing/switching panel with headphone/mike.
- Independent display for requests registering from each student.
- Connectivity to ext. audio devices (VCD player/PC/VHS player etc).
Students Unit
This is the piece of equipment which comes with HEADPHONE attached with microphone. One unit is meant for two no. of students.
